CREATING A SACRED LIFE
Mindfulness is the key to creating a sacred life. When we are still and awake we connect with our inner wisdom. When you are living in the present moment sacredness is present. Meditation gives us the tools to connect with our inner wisdom and the divine wisdom. We begin to
see and experience the sacredness of all life in all our moments.

Take time out to reconnect with yourself and to the peace within. You will practice breathing exercises, gentle yoga stretching, guided imagery and meditation. You will discover ways to connect with your inner wisdom and healing power.
This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in managing stress and living a more sacred and meaningful life. I welcome you as you

Mindfulness Meditation assists you in seeing life in its totality. It allows you to reduce stress by responding positively to life situations. Meditation teaches you to live with increased clarity, peace, and compassion.Using presentations and discussion we focus on mindfulness practices such as sitting and guided meditations, lovingkindness and body awareness meditations. A six week program modeled on Jon Kabat-Zinn's Stress Reduction Program at the University of Mass.Medical Center and featured on the Bill Moyer's PBS Special, "Healing and the Mind."


SPIRITUALITY & HEALING
This workshop invites you to discover the true meaning of spirituality and healing for yourself. It is an opportunity to go deeper,
to explore these concepts and how it informs your daily life. We will have discussion, a meditation and a chance to deeply be
with ourselves and others..

RENEW YOUR SPIRIT ~ A Woman's Retreat
This workshop was created to help nurture yourself and to take time out of your busy life to return to your true self. I invite you to reclaim your innate wholeness and wisdom. We will practice breathing exercises, gentle stretching, guided imagery and meditation. We will discover ways to connect with your inner wisdom and healing power. These practices are profound in returning to a state of balance and harmony, reconnecting us with the web of life. Allowing you to become quiet so you can live your life from your own center of peace and power.

Meditation has been proven effective for people with cardiac disease, hypertension, anxiety/panic disorders, chronic pain or any stress-related illness. I welcome you as you continue on your journey of self-discovery to a healthier, happier and more balanced life.

SARAH'S CIRCLE ~ A woman's spiritual journey
Joan Borysenko, a medical researcher and pioneer of mind/body health has written about women's groups and I particularly was drawn to her description of Sarah's Circle. My great grandmother, whom I am named after and feel particular connection to, was named Sarah so this group is named after her. Joan says, "Walking Sarah's circle develops an open mind and an open heart. The woman's spiritual journey calls us to trust the moment-to-moment unfolding of our lives. The basic message of Sarah's circle is simple. Our lives are our paths. We don't have to do great things in the world, to go on a hero's journey, in order to realized our potential and find our place in the world. We have only to love as deeply as we can, using every part of our embodied selves to be present."

Joining together as a group of women, we will bring a light to shine on our inner wisdom. This workshop is a process to discover your own individual truth and then create your life around this truth. We often get stuck in our limiting beliefs that we have held since childhood. During this workshop you will take a look at what beliefs work for you and which ones limit your success. We will explore spirituality, yoga, guided visualizations and more. Join us for Sarah's Circle.


HOLIDAY RENEWAL WORKSHOP
I invite you to take a few hours to take some time to renew yourself before the holiday busyness takes over. Find out how to be mindful
about the stress the holidays may cause and choose to do it differently this year. We will practice a tranquility meditation, do some
gentle yoga and discuss how to create a holiday without stress.


MEDITATIONS FOR HEALING
How to Live with Chronic Pain Workshop
If you live with chronic pain or have occasional physical pain that you find difficult to handle this workshop may be for you. We will explore ways to live life with physical pain with grace and gentleness through meditation, gentle yoga, and guided discussions.


CELEBRATION WORKSHOP
This workshop was created for a very special student who wanted to create an alternative to the typical wedding shower. It was my privilege to create this workshop as a celebration for this couple as they begin a new life together as well as a gift to all their guests.

This is now available to anyone who would like something different for her wedding shower. The theme is It's all about love. During this workshop we discuss what love is and how it manifests in our lives, we practice a metta or lovingkindness meditation, creative writing, discussion, and a blessing ceremony.

This workshop is also appropriate for recommitment ceremonies or anniversaries.
